Will Camp be like school?
The camp experience for your child will remain strongly unique in program design, providing enrichment and nurturing whole-child development. Adding teachers to activity leadership will create a more effective program that retains the vital elements of therapeutic recreation: fun-filled, exposure-based, nurturing activities in a low-stress environment, while strengthening academic/functional content: conceptual learning and intensive practice toward skill advancement, meeting NY State special education standards.
